Scott Johnston recently provided exceptional service as our listing agent. Our property closed 4/29/20. He demonstrated in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the process. His interactions with us were highly professional and always respectful. He guided us through the sale of our property, which had some unforeseeable issues due to Covid 19. Scott Johnston was our selling agent and he did a wonderful job in listing our former homewith excellent photos which included a drone fly by. Scott didn't have to work that hard in the sense that the first and only clients that viewed the condo quickly purchased it. However, Scott was very responsive to our constantinquiries and always took the time to answer our numerous questions. We were very impressed with Scott's knowledge of the real estate business.

I just closed on a property in the Plantations in Venice FL. Mr. Scott Johnston of Michael Saunders & Company was my realtor. To be honest, we were working with other brokers in the surrounding area, looking for a property that met our requirements for both location and price. Scott did a fantastic job for us. He was knowledgeable about everything in the Plantations; new roofs, plumbing updates, HOA nuances - everything. His knowledge ensured that we made a fair offer, taking into consideration the status of the roof on the property and the fact that the HOA is underfunded. We won't get blindsided by an unanticipated special assessment. He was also expert at closing. He recommended the right title company - they were both thorough and timely. He recommended the right home inspection service - they used an Infrared Sensor to identify leaks in the roof. When we ran into a problem that the HOA roofer couldn't find the problem to correct it, Scott used the contract to identify a third party, acceptable to both Seller and Buyer, who confirmed the findings of the original home inspection and ultimately resulted in the roof being repaired prior to closing. And he navigated all this on our behalf as we were out of state for the entire process. Scott really looked out for my best interests, his knowledge of the Plantations and the local contractors was invaluable. I will certainly recommend him to others looking to buy.
